Teasing the past and the future. September 23, 2010 Posted by Mookie
The scene in the last panel of today's comic was touched upon briefly near the beginning of The March Across Maltak. As you can probably tell, things are going to go into much more detail now but I like providing these links. The comic's archive is big enough now that even I need these little reminders sometimes.

I picked up the conclusion to the Hit Monkey mini-series yesterday and, it's official, I am now totally gay for Daniel Way. I've said before that the very idea of Hit Monkey should be dumbest thing in comics, but Way makes the character (yes, the monkey is a genuine character!) so sympathetic and believable that one has no trouble agreeing that a monkey in a suit with nunchuks could beat the crap out of Bullseye. Thank you, Daniel Way, for your monkey goodness.

I'm holding my breath a little now at where Justice League: Generation Lost is going. I love this series. I think it's amazing, but do they really have to tease the "Kingdom Come" future? Again? Don't get me wrong, "Kingdom Come" is a great graphic novel and I highly recommend it, but leave it alone already! Magog would've thrived in the nineties. Guh.

That's all from me for now.
Rock on and geek out.
