Knives, beer, comics and the internet. January 20, 2012 Posted by Mookie
Don't bother looking through the archives for the name "Lizzy Sarkhas." It's never been mentioned. If you mention it to Stunt alongside his real name, however, it's enough for him to draw a knife on you.

In somewhat related news, Alyssa and I were given a beginner's home-brewing kit as a wedding gift. The whole process took about a month, and at the conclusion we had our first homemade beer. It wasn't the most amazing thing ever, but it didn't poison anyone either. So we're counting it as a success.

In comic book news, Wonder Woman remains one of my favorite new titles. The heavy mythology story has me nerding-out like I'm back in middle school. The design for Poseidon in this month's issue made me squeak a little.

In internet news... well it turns out there were more "major developments" to speak of, though I won't go on at length about them. In case you missed it yesterday, Megaupload was taken down by U.S. officials and there was a coordinated retaliation by Anonymous. It looks like an interesting time to be online.

That's all from me for now.
Rock on and have a nice weekend!
