Granite State Comic Con

I’ve got two conventions left in my 2025 tour, and one of them is this upcoming weekend! For the first time, I’ll be exhibiting at Granite State Comic Con in New Hampshire!

I have a weirdly good feeling about this one. I’ve never been there before and it’s only a Saturday & Sunday show, but folks I know who have been there as attendees and vendors have reported that the show is a good vibe and predict I’ll have a good time. I always trust the feedback of trusted associates.

My fingers remain crossed, however. Real talk, all the shows I’ve tried for the first time this year have been financially slow, to the tune of “I barely made the cost of my table back.” That’s not to say I didn’t have a good time at those shows! I met some very nice attendees and fellow exhibitors, but numbers are numbers. And it wasn’t just me. The exhibitors all around me were having equally slow weekends, so this wasn’t like I was experiencing the first signs of the end of my career, but more like the signs of the times for everyone.

But I remain optimistic. ConnectiCon and DragonCon were incredible shows and I’m hoping to ride that momentum into this weekend. And hell, even if I barely make the cost of my table back, I’m looking forward to a show with a reportedly good vibe and meeting lots of cool new folks. It’s also fairly close to home for me, so I’ll get to sleep in my own bed, which is always a plus.

See you at Granite State Comic Con this weekend!
