The Kickstarter to print the first Dwarves of Kadaz story has been a great success! It was fully funded in its third week of a month-long campaign and, with this being the final week, it’s time to push for Stretch Goals! So far the first one has been unlocked, so all physical orders will be receiving a bonus sticker sheet of present and past cast members!
The next Stretch Goal will be for enamel pins, which will arrive separately from the books if that goal is met. Enamel pins take several additional weeks to craft and ship from overseas, and if that Stretch Goal is reached I don’t want to delay the shipment of books that much longer. But we’ll cross that bridge if we come to it (and I hope we do).
The campaign is going to end on a weird day, though. I’ve had luck launching past campaigns in February but since it’s such a short month it doesn’t end on a convenient day in March. Instead of launching on a Monday and concluding on a Monday a month later, this campaign will close next Wednesday instead. It’s a touch awkward, but it is what it is. That means there will also be one last campaign announcement in place of a Monday comic next week, but as usual the Monday update will post on Tuesday instead.
I am so happy that yet another crowdfunding campaign has been successful and after all these years you folks still want physical copies of my stories. After two decades that’s a very fortunate thing to say, and I never take a moment of it for granted. I appreciate you all so very much and continue to do my best to return your faith in me.
