We’re experiencing a massive heatwave here in Massachusetts, with high humidity being a major factor in this sweltering misery.
Today is going to be the worst of it. I’ll be taking my son to a local splash pad to cool down and I hope it won’t be too crowded. It’s a bit of a “hidden gem” so I’m counting on enough people not knowing about it and/or choosing beaches that are far away instead.
Wednesday is also going to suck but my son and I will be returning to our favorite local lake beach, which has unfortunately been closed these past two days. I’ll be looking forward to that bit of refreshment.
And then by Thursday this heatwave will have broken, if the current forecast holds.
That’s all I’ve got to say on the matter. It’s way too hot to write lengthy blog posts or even attempt to be clever. My brain is too much like a steamed dumpling in this heat and humidity.
