My 42nd Birthday and the Second Anniversary of The Legacy!

I haven’t written a blog entry in quite some time, but since today is a momentous day around here, it seemed like as good a time as any to resume blogging.

As the title states, today is not only my 42nd birthday, it’s also the second anniversary of the start of The Legacy of Dominic Deegan! So happy birthday to me and to the beginning of Snout’s adventures!

It’s not only crazy to me that it’s been two years since I started The Legacy of Dominic Deegan, but damn-near insane that I’m 42 years old and still making independent comics. I’ve had lots of time to reflect on that, given the time alone with my thoughts the pandemic provided. Thanks to all of you, and your years of love and support, I’ve been telling these stories for almost two decades. If this were all to come to an end tomorrow, I could look back and say that I had one hell of a run. I am so grateful for each and every one of you.

But I’m not done yet. In fact, I feel like The Legacy is only really just getting started! The last two years have been focused on establishing Snout as a new protagonist, and dropping hints about the way the world has changed since the Oracle for Hire years. Now that you’re all more familiar with Snout, the Ink Witch, and Arudak, I feel like it’s time to really get into the mystery of Dominic’s legacy. I’m excited to show you what Snout has yet to discover.

I’ll try to get back into the habit of blogging more often, too.
